2016

Pikeland Public Schools Foundation awarded over $107,000 in Teacher Grants to the following recipients:

PHS Agriculture – funding toward a new  greenhouse, classroom needs, and shop
equipment
Pittsfield High School – two classroom sets of Chromebooks with accessories
Pittsfield High School – classroom set of T-Inspire calculators
PHS Band – marching band banner, caddy for new uniforms, and music stand racks
PHS Chorus – choral risers, 10 choir robes and 30 stoles
Callie Sears – English reference materials for the PHS library
2nd Grade Teachers – 5 classroom sets of individual dry erase boards
5th Grade Teachers – Time for Kids subscriptions for all 5th graders
Michelle Gates – 3 new computers for Title Math and ALEKs
2nd Grade Teachers – reading assessment systems for all 2nd grade classrooms
Mallory Davidsmeyer – pottery wheel for PHS art classes

2015

Pikeland Public Schools Foundation awarded over $24,000 in Teacher Grants to the following recipients:

Pikeland Libraries – $1000 for book purchases
South School Staff – 9 laptops to be used with projectors
Pittsfield High School – 30 Chromebooks with travel cart
Pikeland Music Department – 3 iPad Airs with “Smart Music” subscription
Pittsfield High School Math Department – 30 TI Nspire CX calculators with charge stations
Michelle Gates – interactive math kit
Dawn Collver – reading manipulatives
Jerrad Heinz – classroom set of The Indian in the Cupboard
Jena Walden – classroom set of Wonder
Shawn Walsh – classroom set of Among the Hidden
Brandi Pennock – classroom set of Shiloh
Heather Richards – classroom set of My Side of the Mountain 

2014

Pikeland Public Schools Foundation awarded over $17,000 in Teacher Grants to the following teachers:

Pittsfield High School – 30 Chromebooks with travel cart
South School – 4 Epson Projectors with carts
PCS Media Center – $1000 for non-fiction books
Noue Filbert – 40 copies of The Great Gatsby
Kim Gerard – A.D.A.M. Inside Out anatomy software
Kindra Phillips – Flinn Science Flower Model (science)
Callie Sears – 45 copies of Of Mice and Men

2013

The Pikeland Public Schools Foundation awarded over $3,500 in Teacher Grants to the following recipients:

South School – 2 document cameras
Julie Foster – magnetic field sensors, view binders, storage basket, books, Big Time Learning Clocks, TI 108 calculators
Mike Smith – sensors and probes
B. Richards & S. Smith – 6 monocular microscopes with 24 slides
Steve Rylander – Big Time Learning Clocks, binders, TI 108 calculators, Hobby and Craft
knives, Towerpak, Shoebox R.O.G. plane
